Ecoya Ltd [ECO.NZ] was listed on the NZX on May 3 of this year after an IPO and prospectus that kicked off in November 2009.Its 2010 full year results, a loss of NZ$2.35 million, is on track according to management and sales are going according to plan.The company has stated that it doesn't expect profit for at least the next 3 years.Ecoya will be heavy on marketing and image and expect these two elements to help them establish a strong brand and hopefully sales and profit will eventuate

Xero Ltd is an online software company that specializes in accounting for small business. It listed almost 2 years ago to raise NZ$15 million to enable the company to grow and raised a further NZ$29 million in 2009. It has thus far reached just over 17000 customers but has yet to manage to push into profit. Management say break even could be in 2011. The company has products that seem to find favour with the customers it does have and users of Xero are enthusiastic to the point of idolization of their products
